SUCAN FOUNDATION

SUCAN Foundation for Peace and Development is a Canadian nonprofit organization providing vital services to war-affected areas in Sudan and across Africa. Our mission focuses on the realization of peace, justice, and security; delivering relief and humanitarian response; supporting rehabilitation and development; strengthening human resource capacity; and providing comprehensive event support services for organizations working in the humanitarian and development sectors.

Mission

To provide immediate relief and support for communities impacted by civil unrest and displacement, facilitate rehabilitation and long-term development initiatives, and foster human resources development through education, skills training, and capacity-building, creating resilient communities that can lead their own transformation toward peace and prosperity.

Focus Areas

SUCAN FOUNDATION FPD shall address itself to providing services to the war affected areas in Sudan and other war affected areas in Africa, in the areas of, but not limited to, realization of peace, justice and  security, relief & Humanitarian response, rehabilitation & development, and human resources development.

We support in building Infrastructure, housing, education, and livelihood rebuilding..



RELIEF & HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE

We and our partners provide Emergency aid, food, shelter, and basic needs for displaced communities.



HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT

We equip and train local leaders and empower individuals through skills development.
